The European Pistachio Council has signed a collaboration agreement with the Plant Biotechnology Technology Platform (Biovegen) with the aim of establishing a framework to support innovation in the pistachio sector and in plant production in general, for the development of joint projects and collaborations of interest in both sectors.
This collaboration is based on the mutually beneficial exchange of information, contacts, national and international visibility and mutual knowledge of the agri-food production sector.
In addition to the interest and opportunities arising from this collaboration for the associates of both organisations, Biovegen becomes a member of the Scientific-Technical Committee of the CEP, a consultative unit for the promotion of innovation and the resolution of challenges in the pistachio sector.
